My name is Rachel Lohan and I am a UKCP-registered psychotherapist, offering counselling and psychotherapy to adults and young people within a space that is secure, confidential and non-judgemental.

Welcome to my website. I hope you find the information you need here.

You may be seeking counselling/psychotherapy for any number of reasons. Perhaps life has got on top of you and you need a space to sort it out. Maybe you feel low, anxious, overwhelmed or stressed and you want to work out a way through. Possibly something particular has happened to you that you need to talk about. Or perhaps you don't really know what is wrong, but feel instinctively in need of support.

I provide a safe place where you can explore your thoughts and feelings and try to get back on track. I am trained in the humanistic school of counselling. I will not attempt to offer you advice or guidance, but rather understand fully the issues you bring and the effect these are having on you, so that you might find more clarity about yourself.

I am experienced in one-to-one therapy work with adults and young people. In addition to my private practice, I have worked with adults in the NHS and in voluntary sector agencies and I am currently a youth counsellor for students aged 11-18 in a secondary school.

I help clients who are facing difficulties with many issues including:
depression - panic attacks - anxiety - bereavement and loss - anger -
relationship problems - eating disorder - self harm - suicidal thoughts.

My counselling and psychotherapy practice is based in Ealing and is within easy reach of many areas of central and west London. It has very good public transport links for Acton, Brentford, Chiswick, Greenford, Hammersmith, Hanwell, Hillingdon, Hounslow, Isleworth, Northolt, Richmond, Shepherd's Bush and Southall. There is also free parking right outside.

You can find more information about how I work as an adult or youth counsellor on other pages of this site. If you would like to know more, or to book an assessment session, please call me on 07843 889349 or email me at [email protected]. If you leave a message, I will be sensitive to confidentiality issues when I get back to you.
